የኢትዮጵያ ታላቁ ሩጫ ዋዜማ በቸሻየር ኢትዮጵያ ተሃድሶ ማዕከል የተሃድሶ አገልግሎት እያገኙ ያሉ አካል ጉዳተኛ ህጻናት (CwDs) መናገሻ ተሃድሶ ማዕከል End Polio now 2023 በሚል መሪ ቃል የሚከበረውን ህጻናትን ፖሊዮን ቀን ማክበር ችለዋል።  ይህ ዝግጅት በታላቁ ሩጫ አዘጋጅነት ከጤና ጥበቃ ሚኒስቴር እና ከአጋር አካላት ጋር በመተባበር የፖሊዮ በሽታን ለማጥፋት የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ መረሃ-ግብር እንዲሆን ታቅድ የተከበረ ነው። አካል ጉዳተኞች በሩጫው ከመሳተፍ ባለፈ ውዝዋዜ በማሳየት ችሎታቸውን አሳይተዋል። በፎቶ የምትመለከቱት ስፍራ የቸሻየር ኢትዮጵያ መናገሻ ተሃድሶ ማዕከል በዓሉን ባማረ ሁኔታ ማክበር ተችሏል።

On November 18, 2023, the eve of the Ethiopian Great Run, children with disabilities (CwDs) who are receiving rehabilitation services at Cheshire Ethiopia Menagesha rehabilitation center joined the End Polio now 2023 children races. This event was organized by the Great Run in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and its partners to raise awareness and support for polio eradication. The CwDs not only participated in the race but also showcased their talents by performing dances.

የስልጠናው ለ3 ቀናት የተሰጠ ስሆን አላማውም እናቶች ለልጆቻቸው ጥራት ያለው እንክብካቤ እንዲሰጡ አስፈላጊውን እውቀትና ክህሎት ማስጨበጥ ነው። መርሃ ግብሩ እንደተጠናቀቀ ተሳታፊዎች በተሃድሶ ማዕከሉ የሚሰጡትን አገልግሎቶችን ጎብኝተዋል።

Cheshire Ethiopia Menagesha Rehabilitation Center conducted Rehabilitation skill training for the mothers of children who have polio and other developmental disabilities.

The training was given for three days and aimed at empowering mothers with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide quality care for their children. Upon completion of the training, the participants visited the facilities of the rehabilitation center and shared their feedback.

ድርጅታችን ቸሻየር ኢትዮጵያ-ሀዋሳ ተሃድሶ ማዕከል በሲዳማ ክልል በተዘጋጀው GO-CSO ፎረም ላይ ተሳትፎ አድርገናል።

የሲዳማ ብሔራዊ ክልላዊ መንግስት ፋይናንስ ቢሮ የመንግሥትና የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች/Go-CSO forum 3ኛ ዙር የጋራ ምክክር መድረክ በሀዋሳ ከተማ አካሄደ።

"መተባበራችን ለዕድገታችን" በሚል መሪ ሀሳብ የክልሉ ፋይናንስ ቢሮ የመንግስትና የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅት 3ኛ ዙር የጋራ ምክክር መድረክ በሀዋሳ ከተማ እየተካሄደ ይገኛል።

በምክክር መድረክ ላይ ተገኝተው መድረኩን በይፋ ያስጀመሩት የሲዳማ ብሔራዊ ክልላዊ መንግሥት ርዕሰ መስተዳድር አቶ ደስታ ሌዳሞ እንደተናገሩት የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ መንግሥትን በማገዝ ለህብረተሰቡ መሠረታዊ የሆኑ ነገሮች በመሥራት ትልቅ አስተዋጽኦ እንዳበረከቱ ገልፀው በዘንድሮው ብቻ ከ1.3 ቢሊዮን ብር በላይ በማውጣት እየደገፉ ይገኛሉ ብለዋል።

በተጨማሪም ርዕሰ መስተዳድሩ መተባበር፣ መተጋገዝ፣ መረዳዳት ካለ የማይፈታ ጥያቄ እንደሌለ የገለጹ ሲሆን እነዚህ ድርጅቶች በክልላች የሚሠሩ የልማት ሥራዎችን ለመደገፍ ለሚያደርጉት ርብርብ አመስግነው የጀመሩትን ፕሮጀክቶችን አጠናክሮ እንዲያስቀጥሉ እና ለሚያስፈልጋቸው ድጋፍ ሁሉ የክልሉ መንግስት ከጎናቸው መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

የፎረሙ አካል ከነበረ ኩነት አንዱ በክልሉ የሚገኙ መንግስታዊ ያልሆኑ ድርጅቶች የሚያከናውኗቸውን ስራዎች የሚያቀርቡበት exhibition የነበረ ሲሆን ድርጅታችን ስራዎቹን በፎቶ በቀረበው መልኩ ለዕይታ አቅርቧል።

ድርጅታችን በሲዳማ ክልል እና አጎራባች አካባቢዎች ለሚገኙ አካል ጉዳተኞች ላይ በሚያከናውናቸውን የልማት ስራዎች ምክንያት በሲዳማ ክልል ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ደስታ ሌዳሞ እና በክልሉ የፋይናንስ ቢሮ ሃላፊ ዶ/ር አራርሶ ገረመው የተፈረመ የዕውቅና ሰርተፊኬት ተበርክቶልናል።

EXPERIENCE SHARING WITH ARBAMINCH REHABILITATION CENTER

On April 1st, 2024, Cheshire Ethiopian Menagesha Rehabilitation Center shared its experiences with the Arbaminch Rehabilitation Center. The focus was on wheelchair services provision and production. The team from Arbaminch Rehabilitation Center, led by Ms. Roman Solomon, the vice manager of the center, included physiotherapists, workshop technicians, prosthetics and orthotics technicians, administrative personnel, and finance personnel.

Upon the team's arrival, we warmly welcomed them, introduced our comprehensive services, and then conducted tours of various service provision units within the center. Following the tour, the team expressed their impression and reflected on the lessons they learned from the center.

Finally, we have agreed to establish formal networking and partnership procedures, including the signing of MoUs, to collaborate on wheelchair and shoe production, as well as provide various on-the-job training opportunities.

The 59th Annual General assembly of Cheshire Ethiopia held on March 28th 2024, at Hilton Hotel. Members of the general assembly and invited guests have attended the meeting.
The 2023 performance report and 2024 plan was presented by Dr Girma Ababi the Board Chair Person and Ato Fasil Ayele CEO of CE respectively and approved by the assembly after the discussion.
The 2023 audit report was presented by the assigned external auditors.
The assembly has replaced two members of the board who have completed their term. The outgoing members Ato Dagnachew Bogale and W/ro Alem Greling was replaced by Ato Demeke Argaw and Seife Tulloscopi.
