CE Delivers Eye Care Service at Mekedonia Center
CE provided comprehensive eye health care services on April 15, 2025 at the Mekedonia Center for the elderly and individuals with mental health conditions, reaching a total of 242 beneficiaries during its latest outreach initiative.
Of those screened, 80 individuals received prescription reading glasses tailored to their needs, and 58 were provided with essential medications. The combined value of the eyeglasses and medications distributed exceeded 134,000 Birr.

Validation Workshop Held for Final Evaluation of Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Ophthalmic Care Projects
A validation workshop for the final evaluation of the Provision of Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services and Strengthening Ophthalmic Care projects was held on April 16, 2024 at the Hub Hotel. These projects, implemented from 2022 to 2024, aimed to enhance inclusive rehabilitation and eye care services.
The workshop was officially opened by Ato Fasil Ayele, Executive Director of CE. Representatives from CBM’s program team and Sr. Kolelech Alemu member of The Board of Management of CE also participated and offered constructive insights on the evaluation outcomes.
