Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) was established in 1962 by Group Captain Leonard Cheshire at the request of Emperor Haile Selassie’s grand Children CE is a local independent NGO, staffed by Ethiopians and registered as an Ethiopian Resident Charity, while playing a leading role in physical rehabilitation in Ethiopia.

On June 28, 2024, Cheshire Ethiopia Managesha Rehabilitation Center successfully organized a one-day awareness-raising workshop on disability mainstreaming with health administrators in Addis Ababa.
